Skate to Fill a Plate is a benefit for the Food Bank for the Heartland. Skaters, their families, friends and the community are invited to enjoy an evening of skating. Organized by UNMC, the event will feature exhibitions by local figure skaters. Athletes in training and seasoned coaches are invited to perform. Afterward, lace up some skates and take to the ice. Skate rental is available. Skate to Fill a Plate is sanctioned by US Figure Skating. Contact Ricky Fulton for more information and to sign up to perform.

Free to spectators, open to the public!
The 11th Annual Autumn Classic competition sponsored by Blade and Edge FSC will be held at Moylan Iceplex on October 29. The competition is open to ALL skaters who are members of a US Figure Skating Basic Skills program and/or are full members of US Figure Skating. Entry deadline is October 18. No charge for spectators.
