The Skate-a-thon is a 24 hour outdoor ice-skating event. Skaters of all levels are encouraged to join in the event at the rink for music, games, food and fun and work together to put Parkinson’s on Ice! Sign up as an individual or gather a team and try for the whole 24 hours! Costumes, crazy hats, and even the infamous skivvy skate make this an event you don’t want to miss. January 22-23rd Noon-Noon. Save the date and lace up your skates! Don’t want to skate, sign up to volunteer instead!
The community is invited to enjoy a special Skating Extravaganza at the ice rink featuring skaters from the Blade and Edge Figure Skating Club on Saturday, December 17 at 3 p.m. The 30-minute performances is free of charge, with a requested admission of a nonperishable food item donation to the Shine the Light on Hunger campaign. Public skating will be temporarily closed during this performance. Event is subject to change.
